Cons: Difficult to manual focus. Partly build with plastic (but remember its price). Not the sharpest lens at the edges at max aperture, but it does not bother.
Pros: Weather Sealed. Sturdy and easy to use. Great image quality (remember that it is a 55-300 telezoom...). Metal mount. Perfect complement of the 18-55 wr
Summary: The review is of course in relation to the price. Really useful lens. with only 2 zooms you can cover almost any focal lenght in almost any weather condition at a very reasonable price. You'll keep it for years.

Price: $256

Cons: Edges can be not as sharp wide open.
Pros: Image quality is professional. Build is top quality for the money. Weather sealing is no joke with Pentax.
Summary: For the money, this lens beats all competitors in terms of Image Quality and weather sealing. For under $300? It's a steal.
