Cons: Focus ring turns at the slightest touch. Front cap is impossible to handle, rear cap falls off (X-mount). No EXIF data.
Pros: Great image quality! Very solid build. No electronics that can break.
Summary: This lens is a very good performer (obviously lenstip.com was unfortunate with their copy). The build is very solid. The focusing ring has perfect viscous damping, but the initial friction is too low; it turns at the slightest touch. If focusing isn\'t your absolutely last step before pressing the shutter, you really have to concentrate to not touch the focus ring again after nailing focus. Another difficulty is to set normal working distances using the scale. All numbers are distances up to 2 m. I use focusing tables extensively, and would appreciate a few focal scale numbers between 2 m and infinity. Dialing in 3-5 m is difficult to do with accuracy. Fortunately infinity is well calibrated at the end stop, so focusing a la Merklinger can be done quickly. Two minor disappointments are the more-than-advertised weight of 320 g and the fact that true max aperture is something like f/1.6. The latter is evident by observing the meter when selecting apertures. The lens is a bit expensive, considering it\'s entirely manual.

Cons: manual focus, heavy for my taste
Pros: very sharp, sharper than fujinon 35 f2 and very simular to fujinon 50 f2, better colors than fujinons, blue sky is better compared to fujinons with polar filter, f1.4 is sharp too
Summary: You can bye it after reading this review, if you can live without autofocus it is your lens !!!!
