In August 2008 Nikon launched a new DSLR camera marked by the D90 symbol. Together with the camera a new lens was presented - the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105 mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR. The lens is meant to be a "kit" lens for D90, it has a very useful focal length range and it's equipped with an image stabilization system. Because of this the Nikkor AF-S DX 18-105 mm f/3.5–5.6G ED VR lens should be very popular among amateurs of photography.
