Samyang 35 mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS
1. Introduction
A similar situation can be observed in the Fujifilm X system. You get many fixed-focal f/1.4–2.0 lenses but if you want to find something faster there is just one: the Fujinon XF 56 mm f/1.2 (offered in two versions). Once again that gap has been filled by independent producers which can offer you many interesting f/1.2 models. One of them is the Samyang 35 mm f/1.2 ED AS UMC CS offered in Sony, Canon EOS-M and Micro 4/3 mount versions. How did it fare in our test? Read the following chapters and find out!
We would like to thank the Fototechnika company, the sole distributor for Samyang devices in Poland, for lending us one specimen of the lens which we used in our test.
