Usage
The ring turns smoothly. Cleaning isn’t troublesome. The wide ring allows convenient work.
Summary
15th place in the overall ranking (23/37.5)The transmission curve is flat at 60% and rises for red color over 650 nm. This may warm the pictures. The extinction coefficient of around 0.5/1000 is good for a foil polarizer. Violet color isn’t entirely extinguished here either. C1 and C2 graphs indicate that we’re dealing with a quarter-wave plate of zeroth order designed for the middle of visible spectrum. The distant position is a combination of poor transmission, flares and vignetting. Antireflection coatings and a slim ring are missing.
