Usage
The ring turns smoothly. The filter arrived a little dirty but its cleaning was troublesome. No problems during the tests.
Summary
11th place in the overall ranking (25.8/37.5)The transmission curve is relatively flat at 70-80%. The coefficient of extinction of around 1/1000 is typical for foil polarizers. Violet color isn’t entirely extinguished. C1 and C2 graphs indicate that we’re dealing with a quarter-wave plate of zeroth order designed for the middle of visible spectrum. The results obtained by this polarizer aren’t bad, they’re not excellent, though. You can see flares in the pictures. The quality of materials is good, but there is a difference comparing to more expensive competitors.
