Cons: Heavy
Pros: Astonishing sharpness, effective stabilization. Sigma has stated that this lens is prepared for 50+ megapixel sensors. Beautiful, neutral colours. Beautiful bokeh. Very versatile as a close focusing 180mm prime or serious macro.
Summary: Stunning results all the time.

Cons: It is real heavy. I don't think it is mechanicaly as good as a canon L but canon did not have a macro this long with an imag stabilizer when I purchased it.
Pros: It is by far the sharpest lens I have ever used. It is great for insect and flowers because it is long enough you don't have to get to close to your sbject.
Summary: I would recomend this lens to anyone wanting perfecton in a long macro lens.
