Cons: Rotating front lens
Pros: Nice lens, good quality for the price
Summary: I bought this lens (used) in 1977 for my Pentax ME, then used it on my Samsung NX-300 and now I 3D-designed and printed an adaptor to fit on my brand new Fujifilm X-S20. Works just fine, old school manual.

Cons: Build quality not the best (but not a bad). The focus ring is imprecise. This makes focusing difficult, especially since the focus path is very short.
Pros: Very good picture quality for a zoom. You will get very sharp images, even wide.
Summary: I use this zoom on manual Minolta bodies (X700, XD7) and also with my Sony A7RII. It is my best zoom I have ever had. Even better than the Sony Zeiss Vario-Tessar 24-70mm (sharpness overall and particularly at the edge).

Cons: Plastic parts in mount that can break easily. One of mine has broken down twice (admittedly under hard conditions).
Pros: Very sharp at f:8-11. Very nice rendering of color and light (slightly warm, which I prefer). Some of my best shots with these lenses.
Summary: Two came with a used RBT Yashica 109 stereo camera bought off EBAY. Skeptical at first, I was won over with the first roll. I also have two Zeiss Distagon 35mm and two Yashica ML 50mm for this camera and the Tokinas are competitive in every way.

Cons: Small aperture, but normal for such zoom lenses
Pros: Quality (built and optical), S/H price
Summary: Got this lens in a package (a S/H camera set in a pawn shop). It looked in a very good shape and I tried it. Well, results are simply amazing. I needed a short telephoto lens for portraiture and it performed very good. Prices are very low nowadays and I recommend this lens to any user.
