Cons: No practical possibilities to fit filters. I tried an Optolong L pro clip in filter for my Canon 60da. It works and it fits but causes smearing in the far corners of images probably owing to the extreme angle of the light coming in.
Pros: Very easy lens to use owing to depth of field. My copy is very good only a touch soft on edges at f2.8 but totally acceptable .This is to me irrelevant for milky way photography which is probably its main reason for being. Minimal coma and CA.This Samyang is plenty sharp enough and has a much nicer, almost film like quality to images than the competing Tokina 11-16.
Summary: I like the lens despite the filter issue and I will keep it. Nothing else is faster or wider for Canon apsc.

Cons: little bit softer wide open
Pros: Very wide angle, very sharp across the frame when stopped down to 5,6 and more (edges equal to tokina 11 - 16mm), proper size and weight do Nikon D7x00 cameras. Distortion is not a big problem.
Summary: Very good value for money, especially for architecture and landscape photo, where manual focus is not a problem.

Cons: like every SY distance scale needs to be calibrated with Live View/ Contrast detect; but after that has been done...perfect
Pros: sharp; contrasty; nice format this is a very good Ultra Wide and much better than Sigma 10 20 at 10mm It is also better than Sigma 8 16 at 10mm (but Sigma is also very very good)
