Cons: No weather sealing, and a bit heavy if you are carrying it around neck extensively. Autofocus is good but clinically not as fast / immediately accurate as native manufacturers top tier lenses, but more than adequate for anything other than maybe fast sports shots in low light.
Pros: Exceptional optical quality even wide open. Great build quality, manual focus feels perfect.
Summary: Simply a great lens.

Cons: no rubber seal backsite lens
Pros: coma handling, only vissible at f1.4 at the maximum corner, solved at f1.8. Much better at infinity than the Nikkor or Canon and even Samyang 35mm f1.4 models very sharp across the frame. good micro contrast background-bokeh is quite neutral, a bit outlining with some oignon ringing at f1.4 great coating works well even with the sun in the frame solid mechanics, quick focussing D750 / D800
Summary: great value, Zeiss Otus-like optical quality for a lower price and with auto focus.

Cons: Fantastic glass. Best 35mm I've ever tested, I like it a lot on my D750.
Pros: None, for the price and its optical qualities.
Summary: Best 35mm out there, Although I'm a nikon user, I had Canon 5d mk3 with 35mm 1.4L mk1 for a while, and this little guy blows canon's long way. Great prime lens, superb optical characteristics. There are reasons for the hype about this lens, it beats its competition with great build quality, great optics, and price.

Cons: I found the coma to be poor on star fields wide open at 1.4, and did not really go away till 2.2, which was a bit disappointing for astro work. Likewise the focus at infinity, which I did two ways (a Bahtinov mask and image inspection) was not where the lens said infinity should be. Vignetting was high as described in the lenstip review and only OK out of camera at 2.8.
Pros: Excellent in many respects. The manual focus operation was very good compared to the flappy Nikon 20mm. Very sharp across the full frame when stopped down to f/2.2. Good colour and low chromatic aberration.
Summary: A good lens, though a bit underwhelming after all the hype attached to it. Significant coma and vignetting wide open.

Cons: Needs service before used for the very first time. No aperture ring.
Pros: Excellent ultra-sharp images even at max aperture. High resolution and contrast.
Summary: AF did not work at all when the lens was shot on a D800E for the first time. After searching the internet for help I learned that the lens must be sent to Sigma together with the camera. The lens will then be adjusted to the specific camera individually without any charge. Alternatively you can buy an electronic device with which you can set the AF parameters for all Sigma lenses by your own. But it is said that the procedure drives you crazy and that the result is not as good as done by Sigma service. After a week I got camera and lens back and AF works perfectly. The sharpness of this lens is really breath taking.

Cons: It is hard for me to find one.
Pros: Value for money: 35mm is now my favorite focal length and that wouldn't have been possible with the other brands. Auto Focus: The AF is bang on and super quick. My quickest prime lens. Image Quality: Very sharp and high resolution just simple amazing. Build Quality: Put it on your camera and you'll feel it is solid.
Summary: I am very happy with this lens. I have introduced many photographers to this wonderful and practical focal length and a very good price point. This lens have replaced my standard zoom and doesn't come off the camera for weddings.

Pros: Best optical quality of its class. Fair price.
Summary: 35mm lenses can't get any better than this at the moment, and this one is also cheaper than its competitors.

Cons: AF lento e molto impreciso.
Pros: Ben costruito. Buona nitidezza e ottimo contrasto già a tutta apertura.
Summary: Se non avesse problemi di messa a fuoco sarebbe un' ottima lente.
