Cons: Heavier and bulkier than the kit lens. No tripod recognition, you have to turn off OS.

Pros: Exceptionally sharp even wide open, besides at 17mm in the corners at 2.8. Nice Bokeh.

Summary: Strongly recommended. It is my only reason not to switch to Fuji.

Cons: Compared to any othe \"kit\" lens (Nikon) it was so much better than anything else.

Pros: Sometime (mostly in cold wether) the aperture not work

Summary: See \"cons\". So it\'s unique for the price

Cons: A bit soft on the edge at wide angle. So It is needed to close the diaph at at least 5.6 or raise the focal a little bit.

Pros: Useful range. Lightweight. Aberrations are not bothersome. Very sharp on the centre. Ideal for travelling.

Summary: Very good value / price ratio if you want to avoid weak zooms sold with high value bodies.

Cons: very weak in the corners at wide end even stopped down

Pros: color rendition, sharp images at center of frame, accurate AF

Summary: Improvement over the prior Sigma 17-70 offering but still lacking
