Cons: Not extremely sharp along the edges.

Pros: Sharp, razor-sharp at the center, small, compact, rugged, with a hefty AF on/off switch.

Summary: The Sigma 30/1.4 Art is my main portrait lens when shooting with my 1\" cameras, but also useful with my DX cameras. In an emergency, you can use it on your FX, but the corners are then quite bad, so cropping to 16:9 is recommended! Much easier to handle than its bigger brother, the 35 Art, which I used to own.

    Cons: No

Pros: Quiet and fast autofocus Outstanding picture quality like by Sigma 35 1.4 Very Sharp like by Sigma 35 1.4 or by Nikon 35 1.8 ED Artistic picture Normal weight and size.

Summary: I use it with Nikon d7100. Very Very astonishing, drizzling sharp and artistic pictures. Pictures as sharp as by Sigma 35 1.4. But Sigma 30 1.4 art have no autofocus issues at all that i can not to say about Sigma 35.1.4 which i tried too. Very great value for money. Best prime lens for APS-C.

Cons: Chromatic aberration, focus problem (font focus with me on Canon 600D), high price.

Pros: Sharper than Canon 50 f1.4, nice build.

Summary: Not so sharp at f1.4, focus problem still remain, chromatic aberration. It is better than canon 50 f1.4 but price is so high.

Cons: No Stablilzer. Some purple fringing. Somewhat Slow AF compared to Canon USM.

Pros: Excellent build quality. Super Sharp. Quiet AF. Fulltime manual Focus. Lens Hood included!

Summary: This is my go to lens for my EOS 70D. Excellent quality for the price compared to Canon and Nikon alternatives. Although there is no Image Stabilzer, at 48mm equivalent, its not really necessary.

Cons: longitudinal chromatic aberration (purple fringing), AF problems, coma

Pros: construction, brightness, standard equipment, bokeh

Cons: Strong CA makes the lens useless in most daylight situations. Very strong and immediately noticable in high contrast out of focus areas of the picture.

    Pros: Sharp when stopped down.

Summary: The shallow depth of field is why i bought this lens. The distruction of an otherwise nice bokeh by Chromatic aberation makes it useless for this purpose in most cases. Regret buying this lens very much. It will be a dust collector. Wish i had bought the DG instead.
