Cons: Don't drop it! Diaphragm blades are large and may not like it... I found some significant focus shift on the Leica M8 which was a real pain, but on the M9 focussing is spot-on and the lens recovers all the beautiful qualities it had on film.
Pros: Beautiful images. No hardness in portraits, and always ultra-sharp when focussed properly. Even at full aperture contrast and microcontrast are fully present. It makes peaceful, gently coloured, graceful images. Beautiful bokeh.
Summary: A truly excellent lens full of character - not for the M8 but perfect on film and on the M9. An astounding portrait, available light and landscape lens! Definitely my favourite in wedding photography. Could be a 'honorary Leica' lens: no need for a Summilux!
