Cons: Big. Heavy. Poor AF - definitely slower and more sluggish than Fuji’s 35mm f1.4. Build and fit not really top notch. For Zeiss, it has to be said, this is a budget lens. Autofocus isn’t their forte, either. Peculiar varying performance over the apertures. Wanted to like it - it has a certain Matt black brutalist appeal and there is the Zeiss reputation - but comparison with the far smaller, lighter, faster focussing and more affordable Fuji squashed that idea; one did not have to squint at the results to know which was the better lens.
Pros: None I can think of. Even reduced somewhat, as it appears to be now, I would not buy it.
Summary: Rather defeats the purpose of Fuji X - not small, light or affordable.

Cons: Price, some AF weakness
Pros: Image quality, solid built
Summary: As any Zeiss lens this one offers top image quality and is built for eternity. At low light AF is often inaccurate. In comparison I prefer the Sony/Zeiss 24mm/1.8 (SEL1824).
