Cons: outdated AF
Pros: sharp, very portable
Summary: Very lightweight an portable lens with outstanding center sharpness right from 1.7 - fully usable. Sharpness is not extraorinarily even and you have to stop down to f/4 to improve corner sharpness and vignetting to decent levels. The AF however is the pain point with this lens. With video it is close to unusable (slow, noisy, pumping). For landscape oder object photography it is acceptable. I thought 40 mm equiv. would make a fine walk around lens, but since I`ve got the PanaLeica 1,7/15mm I am much happier with this wider focal length (and its much better AF of course). Sample variation: Some amount of softness on the right side with my copy. At the end of the day I was not fully happy with teh 1,7/20.

Cons: - Nervous bokeh - External focusing - Autofocus is good enough but not the best - A lot of sample variations (1 excellent, 1 sent back for huge decentering, 1 average)
Pros: - Beautiful colors - Useful focal lenght - Pancake lens - Very good value for money
Summary: Extremely small lens, very sharp if you find a good one. Overall useful focal lenght, beautiful colors and very good value for money. Results of a good sample are comparable to those of the 15mm Panasonic Leica except for the bokeh which stays quite nervous. Autofocus is not the best, slightly audible, not the fastest and sometimes miss focus when there is not enough light but when reading the reviews, I thought it would be worse. Better than the Fuji 35mm f/1,4 for example, just unusual for a micro 4/3 lens.
