Cons: My first copy was badly decentered and had to be returned. The replacement copy has very good optical quality. Apparently poor QC for a lens this expensive.
Pros: Replacement lens has very good optical quality except for one soft extreme corner at 20mm wide-angle. As expected, build quality is superlative. Otherwise, quite sharp edge-to-edge. Weather-resistant and fairly compact.
Summary: I suspect that the Sigma 18-35 in Pentax mount would be sharper but this is a nice lens if you get a good copy. Definitely worth checking ASAP and exchanging if needed.
