    Cons: Cannot think off any

Pros: Zoom range. Image quality. Value for money.

Summary: Love it. Swapped for 100-400, which I loved, but added zoom makes this purchase a no brainer

Cons: No meaningfull cons. Almost too inexpensive to be taken serious !

Pros: Unmatched zoomrange though providing superb picturequality. Sharp or sharper than my Nikkor 80-400 AF-S N in their equivalent range, and MUCH sharper than any Sigma I have tried in the 400-500 mm range. From 500-600 mm I can only compare it with my Nikkor 300 AF-I + TC20IIIasf and my previously owned Sigma 120-300/2,8OS+2XTC. The new Tamron sets a new standard in portable 600 mm segment compared to the above mentioned. I will estimate a IQ as eqivalent to my previously owned Nikkor 400/2,8 AF-S + TC14EII on a 12MP D3. The new Tamron 150-600 serves on my D800 creating breattaking detail despite having almost twice the linear resolution than a D3 ! AF is fast and FIRST OF ALL precise. Very responsive to AF-finetune ! Minus 10 on my D800 is spot on.

Summary: Premium buildquality, exceptional resolution, great colorreproduktion, and realy nice bokeh. Succesfull combination of portability and aparture. Great AF. Buy it witout hesitation if you need a portable wildlife, birding or even outdoor sports lens.

Cons: no cons considering the necessary weight of such a lens.

Pros: incredible focal length and quality for the price. build is excellent, not a hint of penny pinching in the design and manufacture.

Summary: As good as my Canon 100-400 in equivalent circumstances and gives the option of an extra 200mm focal length.
