Cons: Severe vignetting and poor edge sharpness at large apertures. The lens hood is good, which is fortunate, because it\'s very much needed. Front cap is impossible to handle, rear cap falls off (X-mount). No EXIF data.
Pros: Spectacular center sharpness, already from full opening. Easy to focus manually. Much faster (f/2) than competing zooms. The lens can take filters. Very solid build. No electronics that can break.
Summary: This lens provides very satisfying image result, despite lacking edge sharpness. Contrast is good. Due to the short focal length, one can be lazy when focusing, and still get good result. Infinity (at the end stop) works fine for small apertures, zone focusing works for slightly larger apertures. I don\'t recommend larger aperture than f/4 though (except in really low light) as edge sharpness will suffer. Work against bright light is a weakness. If sun beams hits the front element from the side, contrast will take a severe hit. Use the hood! If the sun is in the picture, it looks like a laser beam from starship Enterprise is crossing the scene. However, contrast and shadow detail is still quite decent. Vignetting at large apertures must be corrected. The lack of EXIF data makes this process time consuming. I have measured the true focal length of the lens, which turns out to be 13 mm. The hood makes the lens slightly bulky in the bag.

Cons: Prone to flare. Poor rendering of highlights and sunstars. Distinct hexagonal aperture is unattractive. Focus not fluid or well damped. Indistinct clicks on aperture ring. Significant (but easily corrected) barrel distortion. Not especially sharp.
Pros: Wide and fast. Great value. Compact.
Summary: Well priced and useful lens, but optics and build are not exceptional.

Cons: None.
Pros: Build quality, sharpness, character.
Summary: On mft bodies it\'s devilishly sharp edge to edge. Yet it retains a bit of barrel distortion and vignetting wide open. Not too much, just enough to give it a special rendering. Love it.

Cons: Only six blade aperture - during the daytime you will have the sun in almost every shot - six beams are quite boring. Focus ring is too though, in the winter it is starting to do some problems when you need to accurate focus. And little play between the bayonet and the body. I plan to fix it DIY.
Pros: Great for landscape photography and interieor. Awesome sharpness and picture quality. Lightweight, small, great lendshood. You can use any 3mm thin UV filter for protecting the front element. I use it because you need to go IN action and stand really close to subject.
Summary: For the price its a great lens. I would recommend it... In my opinion the MF combined with this focal lenght is better than AF.

Cons: none
Pros: - High IQ - Very reasonable price - Small - Fast
Summary: I had the Zeiss 12/2.8 and bough this to compare, let's just say I sold the Zeiss and kept the both optically superior and far cheaper lens.

Cons: Plastic in the outer housing and lens hood. Doesn't effect the operation or utility of a great lens.
Pros: Excellent lens for the price. Great for landscape, environmental portraits, and astrophotography. I list manual focus as a pro - this lens is a great hyperfocal quick-shooter. Lightweight and compact - my goto travel lens.
Summary: A highly recommended manual focus fast ultra wide lens with very high utility per cost ratio.
