Cons: - central sharpness only on \'good zoom lens\' level - strong vignetting wide open - video AF (on Pansonic G9) sometimes more hesitant than I\'d like to see

Pros: - evenly sharp from center to corners - wide open shots usable - build quality - low weight and hig portability

Summary: I fully agree to Lenstips\' statements concerning image resolution. The Leica 15 F1.7 is a solid device rather than an exciting one. Central sharpness is average, but evenness of sharpness is excellent. It is the \'unavoidable\' small and light completion of your zoom lens collection which brings in fastness . I would not have bought it new but with 300 Euros I paid for a used one, I am happy.

    Cons: None

Pros: Aperture ring (but only works with Lumix bodies)

Summary: For those who\'d like a sniff of what the FF Leica Q, with fixed 28mm f/2 Summilux, is capable of - this bucket list poor Pana-Leica cousin trumps Olympus alternatives c/o its aperture ring, if not its performance.

    Cons: not sealed

Pros: Very well build quality, stylish design, compact, sharp at 1.7, fast and accurate autofocus on omd 5

Summary: 30mm focal it is a good ponderat wide focal so this is my everyday lens
