Cons: Can\'t beat it for the money. It produces very pleasing images and is quite fast. This lens is a no-brainer for Canon crop sensor camera owners.
Pros: Sharp images with good colours and contrast. Great focal length. Extremely portable. Good build quality.
Summary: I notice some chromatic aberration.

Cons: Only 2.8, could have been 2.0. Typical market segmentation by Canon, since they didn\'t want to canibalise their full frame offering.
Pros: Sharp at f/2.8, tacksharp at f/4.0. Surprisingly useful focal length for walkaround.
Summary: Another must have lens for people on a budget and who mind their weight carried.
