Cons: -A little bit expensive for a 1.8 prime -Build quality is a little plasticky and doesn't feel as good as the Sigma 24mm 1.4 or Samyang 24mm 1.4.
Pros: -Extremely sharp wide open from corner to corner. -Very light and focus ring feels just right. -Little coma wide open which produces great results for astro-landscapes.
Summary: This lens is so good it's making me wonder if I still need the Samyang 24mm 1.4 for astro-landscapes. The Samyang handles coma pretty well at f/1.4 but this Nikon comes very close and beats the Samyang on sharpness at f/1.8. Plus the Nikon is AF which will make it a more versatile lens...hmmm
