Cons: Expensive, heavy, plastic. L-fn buttons don\'t work on mft bodies, distance scale does now show up on mft bodies with this lens. Cheap feeling lens cap.
Pros: Exceptional optics, pretty much on par with the sharpest telephoto lenses out there.
Summary: It\'s slow, heavy, cumbersome to use. But the results are worth it. If you do need fast AF or use a CDAF body, get the 40-150/2.8 instead.

Cons: Heavier than it needs to be.
Pros: Exceptional optics and image quality.
Summary: I truly wish we saw an M4/3 update of this lens, even if its just a rehousing with a better motor.

Cons: Big. Heavy. But hey — it\'s f/2.0! Slower to focus that modern SWD-type motors. Yet another filter size. A bit too much reach for portraiture — you have to shout at your model outdoors, and you may not have enough room indoors.
Pros: Ouch sharp! Don\'t use it on older people! This is an amazing \"golden hour\" lens, because with f/2, you can freeze motion and still get the lovely side-lighting. Snappy focus on the OM-D E-M1 Mark II, but it will be slow on cameras that don\'t support PDAF.
Summary: It has hardly left my camera since getting it! It took some getting used to, as it is not an angle-of-view that I use much, but now I\'m beginning to \"see like\" this lens, and it just keeps getting amazinger and amazinger!

Cons: nothing
Pros: Very sharp, fast and reliable AF, very sharp also with EC-20, Lens hood included, water and dust resistant
Summary: I use it now with the 4th camera (from E-1 to now E-M1). Now, with the E-M1, the AF is as fast and reliable than never before. The lens is really sharp, also when I use it with the EC-20,so as a 4/300mm. The AF is fast, but you hear the motor. Besides the 2,8/60 Macro my favorite lens.

Cons: Focusing could be with SWD. Not cheap but you get a top quality lens.
Pros: Small and handy for a fast 300 equivalent lens. Lens hood is big but it means it also works well. Competitively priced when compared with the 2.8/300ZD, or similar lenses from other manufacturers (Canon/Nikon 2/200).
Summary: Very good lens in all respects.

Cons: High Cost and weight and no silent (SWD) autofocus. Once 2x teleconverter is attached there is some purple fringing on very bright highlights but sharpness and reach is still great at equivilent of 600mm f4.
Pros: This lens is amazing the resolution is perfect even wide open, you can resolve every hair and eyelash and hint of skin texture in a portrait and even see yourself and the furniture reflected in the eyes of your subject! With this lens I can photograph birds in the dark jungle without a flash a feat that no other lens allows. This lens is heavy though short and easy to handhold though better with monopod. Build Quality is excellent and weather and dust proof lens hood is large and deep. Autofocus though not SWD works fast and even faster with limiting switch on. 1.4x teleconverter works very well as 424mm f2.8 equivilent lens with still excellent image quality.
Summary: One of the best lenses on the face of the planet! Image quality is superlative and equal to any other lens money can buy! Excellent with 1.4x teleconverter Good with 2x teleconverter and amazing 600mm reach though very bright highlights colour fringe.

Cons: - no doors in lens hood (for CPL adjustments)
Pros: - tack sharp right at f/2 - excellent smooth bokeh - great build - nicely placed AF lock buttons and ergonomic limiter switch - small (short length) for this kind of lens - fast AF, altough not silent
Summary: One of best lenses ever made, if not the best - a flawless piece of glass.
