Cons: REALLY slow AF. Even with firmware v1.2 and on an A7R2 body, I missed a lot of shots for more demanding scenes, such as animals and street scenes. Flare control is not the best. Wide-open resolution leaves something to be desire, with visible spherical aberration and coma. And, of course, it\'s one brick of a lens.
Pros: The bokeh is really one of a kind. Defocused area simply melts away, even for very demanding transitional regions. The regions that are slightly out of focus show a very soft and gentle glow, which I thought might due to intended spherical aberration. Color and microcontrast is simply beautiful, and the resolution becomes stunning when it\'s stopped down a little bit.
Summary: My only real complaint is the AF speed which resulted in some valuable shots missed. Otherwise it is a real gel.
