Overall
Owner since: 1 year
Price: 600
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Fairly slow: f3.5 at 28mm and f5.6 at 105mm, distortion (although typical for class), vignetting (although also typical for class)
Pros: Great IQ for the money, Relatively compact, Rugged and weather resistant, Low CA and good flare control, Nice reproduction of colours, Useful FF focal range
Summary: Price is higher because its from a local NZ supplier and so includes taxes etc. Love this lens for its its relatively compact size and excellent performance to cost ratio. Its in my bag most of the time - especially when travelling fairly light. Very happy with the images it delivers - in fact in terms of sharpness its pretty close to a lot of my old FA primes.
