Cons: Heavy, lens collar does not come off, lens foot too close to lens body to use as a carrying handle, short zoom range.

Pros: Lovely optics across the frame at all focal lengths, usable wide open at all focal lengths, fast glass, terrific outdoor portrait lens that doesn\'t require lens changes during a shoot.

Summary: Absolutely beautiful glass for the short tele range.

Cons: Heavy, my right arm is now beefier than my left. Tripod foot but I live with it. Optical stabilization and weather seals would be great.

Pros: Superior image, smooth focus, fast, bokeh.

Summary: I bought this to pair with my 18-35 1.8, which is my favorite lens for my camera, a Canon 70D. Seriously, the weight can make it less enjoyable to casually shoot and subconsciously causes me to use it less than I should. I Think it is a world class lens for an APSC and there is probably nothing close to it. I am comparing it with my previous camera/lens gear. Contax Zeiss Ikon with Zeiss glass, Contax with Zeiss glass.

Cons: The weight, I guess. The lack of OS, maybe. Neither of those bother me much.

Pros: The most exceptional lens I\'ve ever used, in every respect - even considering the Leica Asph glass I used to have.Corner resolution down to the pixel level by f2.2. Lovely color, great microcontrast. Perfect focus out of the box, with no need for AF tuning on my 7100.

Summary: This lens is revolutionizing my shooting.

Cons: Now this is a heavy lens, tripod foot but I learned to live with it, hoped it would be as great as my 18-35 1.8 but no not quite. Did I mention heavy? No OS

Pros: Sharp, fast, build quality, much better than the 24-105

Summary: I am still on the fence for this lens. It might be because I love my 28-35 1.8 so much that I need to give it a chance
