Pros: Excellent fisheye effects on 4/3 or m4/3 format. Full 180 degree view on the diagonal. Fills frame with semicircular view. Sharp from corner to corner. Allows you to get very close to the subject and still have good DOF due to 4/3 format. Wide, fast f/3.5 aperture at 8 mm allows low light hand held shooting.
Summary: A fun lens for architecture and very wide landscapes. All fisheyes are best if POV is held level and flat, or vertically straight up or down. Have used this in narrow canyons and grottos. Have used it underwater in a housing with excellent, sharp, close focus results. Great to put something close to lens, leading into the scene.
