Cons: Few to none, at least none that wouldn\'t be expected, such as typical UWA stretching distortion, and some difficulty focusing----although as with all UWA lenses nearly everything is in focus at normal working distances. A bit of chromatic aberration out towards the edges, easily rectified in a digital workflow.
Pros: For the money, it\'s crazy not to have this lens if you are working in tight spaces. Has saved the day twice now since I bought it---which is remarkable considering how few times a lens like this is truly needed.
Summary: Just buy it, even if you don\'t frequently use this FL in FF. It\'s arguably the best UWA \"anchor\" lens around, and I have the estimable Pentax 15-30 for FF and 25 and 28-45 for Pentax medium format---it gets you shots you might not have thought possible.

Cons: Angle so wide that you always need to be careful that your feet aren’t in the frame. Due to it’s shape you are unable to use conventional filters. Takes gel filters which are not inexpensive, scratch very easily, and are next to impossible to use in the field.
Pros: Best wide angle that I have ever used. Spectacular color rendering with very minimal, if any distortion.
Summary: You will not regret buying this lens. It is built like a bank vault. I have the Blackstone version which is very, very heavy. You may wish to consider the Firefly version which has more plastic parts although the literature says that the optics are identical if weight is a consideration.
