Cons: Big and heavy, but that is expected with a big 2.8 zoom. Zoom and focus ring\'s were a tad sticky at first, but are now much smoother as time has progressed. Also I am not really a big fan of the zoom ring on the outside as I find that I can sometimes jolt the focus ring causing the lense to misfocus if I\'m not careful.
Pros: Very sharp, the image rendition is superb. The vibration compensation (Same as VR, IS) is truly amazing and makes handholding shots at 1/30 at 200mm possible, and the feature to be able to set the VC to a pan mode is very nice too.
Summary: Overall a great lens for the price, great VC, halfway decent handling, and superb image quality!
