Cons: A very fine zoomlens with few flaws, once micro adjusted in the wide end. A bit too high vignette on 14mm at f/2.8. Also distortion is 3-4% below 1m at wide end. A bit front heavy on D810 w/grip.
Pros: A new benchmark wide zoomlens from Sigma, feels sturdy with precise zoom/distance rings. Snappy autofocus. A lot of subtle improvements over both Nikon 14-24mm & Tamron 15-30mm..(had both). Colours pop with great clarity and more neutral look. Micro contrast very high for a zoom. minimal focus shift. Very sharp/crisp throughout zoom range from f/4.0...& flare is minimal. Texture looks real/right wether skin, wood, metal or foliage etc.
Summary: A great/precise/sharp Sigma Art lens...it really grows on you!highly recommended.
