Cons: Focus is still slower than comparable Canon 200/1.8 or 200/2 on a 5D-class SLR.
Pros: Exceptional image quality and contrast even in backlit scenarios. Noticeably lighter and better balanced than the Canon 200mm f/1.8L
Summary: Indoor focus is still a challenge for the XF200mm but outdoor performance is exceptional. Imagine quality is exceptional allowing the 24MP APS-C sensors to compare favorably to the EOS 5DS/5DSR. Moire effect can be seen on eyelashes, showing per-pixel sharpness when properly focused.
