Cons: -
Pros: Nice colour rendering (Nikon), sharp, very good performance against bright light, small size and weight for this class, marvellous flare resistance, usable within the whole focal length, weather sealed, useful for astronomy if you know how to, accurate and silent AF...
Summary: This is my currently 35mm lens, if I need one on the go. I had no problems to get used to the two differences of this lens - like the interchanged Focus and Zoom ring - when operating manually; the lens is a joy - a defiant one manually in the darkness sometimes ;-). It is my favourite lens for city, street and inside buildings, or for cityscapes - even with stars above (at 17 to 20mm for example)... ...and you can easily carry it with another (e.g. faster, bigger, longer) lens.
