Cons: Weather sealing missing.
Pros: The sharpness is fantastic, and its really a \"swiss knife\". Its a perfect travel lens. I had the RF24-105L and see no difference in picture quality.
Summary: I have now only the RF16, RF24-240 and RF100-500L, RF1.4, R6 in my backpack.

Cons: No doubt with this focal length range it needs to be as big and heavy as it is. Wide end not as good as the rest of the range, even with lens correction engaged. Lacks weather sealing
Pros: Apart from the wide end, amazing image quality for a lens with a 10x zoom range. I tested it against the excellent RF 24-105 L IS and at most focal lengths and apertures it was hard to tell them apart.
Summary: Outstanding travel and walk around lens
