Until recently only Canon had a lens of 1.4/50 parameters equipped with a silent and supersonic autofocus motor. In the last few years the situation has changed significantly, though. Sigma and Nikon have shown their own lenses of this class. Not to be outdone, Pentax announced the introduction of an smc DA* 1.4/55 lens at PMA 2008. Read more>>
