Cons: new too expensive in my opionion - I was lucky to get it cheaper on the used market - but besides that, I see no negative points regarding this lens
Pros: Build quality, usage, size, bokeh, sharpness, minimum focus distance
Summary: I have really felt in love with this little lens - it is already very sharp at f2.5 in the midframe area and at f 4 I don\'t hesitate to use it for landscape - corner to corner is alreay very good. Originally wanted to buy the Zeiss 1,8/55mm because I had that once before but mainly because the the minimum focus distance and size I gave this little G-Lens a go and I am glad I did. If I only want to take one lens with me - this is the one I would choose - and if I had to sell all other lenses - this is the one I would want to keep (sorry Zeiss 21mm and 135mm) One thing that sticks out at f 2.5 compared to the Zeiss 55mm is the bokeh - it is very pleasant to the eyes - the Zeiss therefore hat this typical Zeiss 3D look - at least that\'s what I liked about it.
