Cons: A bit larger and heavier in comparison with other Fuji primes

Pros: Excellent image quality, fast enough to create nice bokeh, superb image quality when used together with Raynox close up lenses.

Summary: The best Fuji lens I have ever owned, perfect for portraits, product photography, semi-macro and even landscape. Could be smaller.

Cons: Price - a bit high for a 35mm equivalent prime with no exceptional features

Pros: Image quality at all f/stops close focusing fast, accurate AF light and small weather sealing

Summary: The best 23mm lens in the Fuji system for sure - impeccable image quality, razor sharp wide open through f/11 or so. Smoking fast AF that works great even in AF-C mode / low light. No real distortion/aberration issues, pleasing bokeh/soft backgrounds. Quasi-macro close focusing (0.2x mag). This is possibly the best of the new primes overall - most consistent edge-to-edge sharpness, better magnification. If they made a 50-75mm version of this lens I\'d snap it up immediately. I use this lens for pretty much everything and anything, and it does a superb job. Well worth saving up for a clean used one/sale priced lens. Legendary status. Buy with confidence (or the 18mm or 33mm versions, which are about equally good).
