User profile: Amateur
Cons: Good range (28-85mm) and solid built quality. Typical Minolta colour and Macro is truly superb ! Both AF and MF also good thanks to the Peaking Graph available on my Sony a57.
Pros: A little heavy but of course I can live with it since it produces good image quality. Output tends to be "warmer" on low light condition.
Summary: I just jump ship from my Nikon D90 to Sony a57 because I am curious and would love to try out this range of Minolta line up. I'm considering myself as a person who loves to take photograph, I'm not a Pro nor an amateur but I know what I want. I'm astonished by all the shots taken with my a57 and this lens. IQ is good (even better when stopped down) and the Macro (1:4) range available is truly useful !! If u found one of this lens, get it ! U won't regret!
