Overall
Owner since: 3 years
Price: €500
User profile: Amateur
Cons: Bit of PF wide open with high contrast subjects
Pros: Beautiful build Beautiful just to look at, it must be one of the prettiest lens ever made Fantastic bokeh, perfect for portraiture, sharpens up very nicely stopped down. Has the magic pixie dust....
Summary: Again a lens that should not be measured against a test chart but with real subjects and real images. A true aristocrat!

Cons: Contrast may be reduced when taking pictures aginst the light source. Somewhat expensive but the price tag is still fair.
Pros: Near perfect build quality. Near perfect optics on 35mm film as well as with Pentax DSLRs. Even wide open resolution and contrast are very good, from f2.8 they are superb.
Summary: Image quality and joy of handling this lens excel each other :-)
