Cons: The plastic feel of this lens
Pros: The sharpness and color saturation is excitant and for the price your not going to fined a better midrange zoom.
Summary: Just try one you will be surprised. It's a great little lens that weights nothing.

Cons: Feels non-existent on a D600 body No VR f5.6 min. aperture at long end Quarter turn for entire focus range makes it hard to fine tune manual focus.
Pros: Surprisingly good image quality Quick focus
Summary: Hell of a deal. Worth much more as long as you aren't worried about the "low status" look (looks pretty cheap, especially sitting on a $2000 camera, but, hey, results are what count, right?)

Cons: Not for low light since it don't have VR. Plastic, but i can live with it.
Pros: Cheap and sharp at all focal length!
Summary: I just bought this lens for fun and this cheap lens surprised me by its end result ! As claimed as many review sites, yes, the end result is sharp and color it rendered also very decent and acceptable for an old lens like this one :) Only downside is it don't have VR thus shooting in low light condition will be tricky unless tripod is use else pump up higher ISO if you don't mind to have some noisier result. But for sufficient light condition, this lens is hell of a GOOD one! Should be price higher for its good pleasant end result although the built is very plastic.

Cons: - cheap plastic - not really solid at all
Pros: - absolutely worth its price - good focus distance on DX - very sharp pictures - no problems with distortion
Summary: The lens was cheaper than the B&W Filter I use with it. But the imagequality is really nice. Thats why I got 2 of these. And it works fine on my D700.
