Cons: Very hard to find because it was overpriced when new so not a good seller. Rotating front element, no USM. Poor optical quality at the edges and in the corners
Pros: Excellent optical quality in the center, perfect for using on an APS-C or APS-H body. Better optics than the USM lens that replaced it.
Summary: Good portrait lens on any camera because of image softness away from the center. Good all around lens on small sensor cameras.
