Sigma A 24-35 mm f/2.0 DG HSM
1. Introduction
Taking all of it into account the company has chosen another way: they decided to produce telephoto lenses with interesting, original parameters. The first was the Sigma A 18-35 mm f/1.8 DC HSM, launched in April 2013. Because of its unusual parameters it was acclaimed as a lens which reactivated professional usage of APS-C/DX reflex cameras.
The Sigma A 24-35 mm f/2.0 DG HSM was the next lens of that series, launched in June 2015. In that case the focal range is no longer so impressive but you have to remember that instrument might substitute three relatively fast ‘prime’ lenses and you get it all in one casing. If you own the Sigma you don’t have to think whether a 24 mm or a 35 mm would be better for your piece of reportage; everything you need is there, ready to use.
