Cons: Stupid and impractical design of a lens hood is about the only criticism I have.
Pros: Certainly one of the most underrated lenses I've ever came across. It offers superb low light performance and is tack sharp almost throughout its entire focal range. the results from this lens never fails to amaze and surprise. Bokeh is well controlled as is chromatic aberration.
Summary: If you don't have it - you are missing something. Compared to everything else, it is really cheap but the results frequently outshine glass that costs 30 times more.
