Cons: A little unsharp open wide discontinnued 4 a long time available only used use hood 4 avoiding reflexes use at 1/20s shutter speed

Pros: TOKINA Quality NOT heavy rather small lens best results at f/5,6 to 8 tough

Summary: best Value 4 money If I didn't own one I'd get one BUT: No comparison to neew lenses like TAMRON 35mm f/1.8 or similar

Cons: Nothing major. Fuzzy left bottom corner sometimes at big apertures, but not the right? Sometimes all corners are sharp. Probably has to do with this specific lens. Have to manual focus to get depth of field. Flare is unreliable, sometimes it just whites out the exposure, but that's probably the photographer.

Pros: Great color, centers always sharp, and autofocus is fast and generally reliable.

Summary: So far this is a go to lens as long as I can use mid range apertures. I printed out some 11x17's and one 20x30 they are sharp on a full frame. Was going to save for an L lense but decided to get a couple primes instead ,

Cons: CA's, there is no graet difference between this and the older lens type

Pros: construction is optically and mecanically fine. very high contrast, nice colours, you'll need it for architecture and total overviews, really sharp ap to the corners when stopped down to f8-11

Summary: buy it, the competitors won't give you more, scarcely, at this price
