Venus Optics LAOWA 9 mm f/5.6 FF RL
1. Introduction
I've emphasized many times how I like Laowa approach. They don't produce just another, ordinary standard lens classic to the core or a portrait lens or another journalistic 1.4/35. They almost always add a twist Most of their devices are unique, without any direct rivals in line-ups of other competitors on the market. If even their parameters are similar, they still stick out with, e.g. an unusual minimum focusing distance and projection scale, connected to it.
The full frame Venus Optics LAOWA 9 mm f/5.6 FF RL is not an exception to that rule – with a really impressing angle of view, reaching 135 degrees, it managed to surpass the previous record-breaker, the rectilinear Voigtlander Hyper Wide Heliar 10 mm f/5.6.
