Overall
Owner since: more than 10 years
Price: 200
User profile: Semipro
Cons: Some CA fringing, that can be corrected
Pros: Well built, sharp
Summary: I have two copies of this AIS, and two of the later D version. I prefer the AIS, and find it slightly sharper. When I don't wish to carry the 14-24, this goes into a pocket. It is a favourite walk around. I am now in my 60s, and rely more on my D600's focus markers to get tack sharp at wider aperatures.

User profile: Professional
Cons: Small Blue fringe on the borders
Pros: Sharp and well built.
Summary: Itīs the best wide angle lens I own. Crispy, elegant without flares. Very little distortion and vigneting. Besides it's sturdy and light non bulky so that you can wear it into your bag.
