Cons: Slow maximum aperture for low-light flashless imaging. A bit expensive but resale value was high, about what I paid new.
Pros: Excellent, all-around, walk-around imaging quality though not bitingly sharp, very sharp enough. Smooth bokeh. Excellent build quality and small. Comes with dedicated lens hood and clear filter. For a one-lens, one-camera (mine was the Nikon FM2N) combination with a very slighly wider than normal viewing perspective , this is great.
Summary: A niche lens that was short-lived but very capable for what it is. Don't criticize it for what it isn't. Appreciate it for what it is and can do.
