Cons: AF could be quicker. So sharp @ 2.8 that you can get moire on clothing with a K-3
Pros: Sharp at all telephoto lengths and apertures. Excellent color.
Summary: This lens comes highly recommended with outstanding technical review on another site. I bought it used, but using it it has been phenomenal, beautiful images. Its been stuck on the camera for a long time, because the images are so stunning. Better than my 16-50 2.8 but a slower auto focus, probably because the throw is greater. Bokeh can some time look nervous on vegetation like rosemary bushes. Great for close focus too. You find one, buy it ! Sharp !

Cons: AF is a touch slow
Pros: Best image quality of a zoom I've ever seen on my K-5.
Summary: This lens is easily the best zoom going around for me and I can't understand why the 1st review of it here (with no actual stars selected) is allowed to stand and affect the overall score. I've got 2 K-5's and a D800E and I was about to sell this lens along with my DA*60-250 to fund a Nikon 70-200 VRII - after testing the Nikkor couldn't bring myself to sell them. It has less weight and CA than the Nikkor for way less money. It also has pretty much the same FOV on APS-C as the Nikkor does on Full Frame so unless you want less DOF at smaller apertures (on full frame) this is the go. Some of my best images were made with this lens.

Cons: Not an f2 lens.
Pros: Weather sealed. Fast and accurate to focus with SDM. Pretty much replicates the focal length range of a full frame 70-200mm lens.
Summary: Stunning image quality from the often underrated Pentax brand. This is my best lens and one of the best kept secrets in the 'pro' bracket.
