Cons: I got dust into the lens. Build quality is not the best. Contrast could be better. Slow autofocus when used in really dark places. Lens, with three barrel elements, acts as a huge pomp and it seems to suck dust into itself. Sometimes I wonder if it also suck dust into the camera. Distortion over the range is higher than 17-50mm 70-210mm lenses.
Pros: Nice bokeh!! Nice range. Quite good autofocus speed. Good close focus... no macro, but amazing anyway.
Summary: When you want one lens, that does it all. This won't let you down. It's sharp, has beautifull bokeh and colours. Sure there are better lenses, but then you'll need two or three lenses in this range. This one can stay on the camera, and is great as travel lens.
