1. Introduction

I've told it many times, I can tell it once again: I like small and handy lenses very much. I try to test them as soon as such an instrument is available for the tests. In my opinon they fit together with small, mirrorless cameras incredibly well and are, generally, a very pleasant addition to any such system.

When in February 2023 Voigtlander announced the launch of the Ultron 2/27 model designed for Fujifilm X cameras, I knew I would like to test it, especially that there is an X-E line among mirrorless Fuji devices, simply ideal for cooperation with any 'pancake' type lenses.

The lens fell into our hands courtesy of fdirect company, a distributor of Voigtlander brandname products for Poland. We are very happy to present the results of our test in the following chapters – enjoy your lecture!
