Cons: Not much to say... not the best of the CV range but a very good lens. Compared with the much more expensive Leica ASPH 2/28, the CV tends to give images globally a bit harder with darker shadows, while the Leica gives more of a peaceful impression. Small details microcontrast is significantly better with the Leica ASPH.
Pros: Very good build quality, excellent shock resistance (how do I know this?), very good optical design, no focus shift on M8 or M9, very low distortion. This lens has some good character in landscapes, bokeh is fine and vignetting reasonable at full aperture disappears almost completely at 4.
Summary: A very good lens in all respects. Not lots of character, but just enough of it; reliable and predictable, makes beautiful images especially in landscapes. LOTS of quality for the price!
