Cons: Difficulty finding adapters. Poor screws make repair difficult.(Maybe the copy I have is like this)

Pros: Price. Resolution. Not hard to find.

Summary: It can be recommended, but buy a good adapter first.

Cons: One of the cons is the fact that the lens has a rotating focussing mount so you can upset the focus when changing the aperture- if you use a dedicated adapter. I my case this will not be a problem as my home made mount does not rotate. If you include the helicoid focussing mount and the adapter it will be relatively expensive but certainly cheaper than a dedicated Fuji lens.

Pros: They are really cheap and the optical quality is superb.

Summary: The lens arrived and I found that there was no bayonet. I blame myself for not reading the description properly. It was described as NEW but the serial number says it is 38 years old ! I decided that I should buy another, test them both and keep the best. In the meantime I gave it some thought and found that if I used two extension tubes to make 15.5mm and a piece of paper to make up to 15.68. The lens fitted inside at the front and I put three screws in to hold it in position and carefully centred the lens. I also use a Leica to Fujifilm adapter with a helicoid focussing mount. It worked beautifully. I tested it and in nearly blew me away as it was superb. The second one was quite good but not as good as this. In all, I have had five of these lenses over the years but this one beats the lot ! It looks a bit \'Heath Robinson\'. I sent the whole assembly to SRB in Dunstable who are making a better looking mount for me. I do not know how much the adapter will cost but the last adapter they made was £35.00 + postage. I highly recommend them

    Cons: None

Pros: Excellent Contax-Kiev mount lens-very sharp nice colors - the best of the 50mm lenses for these cameras, even better than the Jupiter 8.

    Summary: Excellent buy,highly recommended
